Ian is the managing partner of the firm of Crawford & Lowry, L.L.C., Attorneys and Counselors at Law (Canton, Ohio), with a practice emphasizing the representation of people injured by the negligence of others, victims of consumer fraud, and other miscellaneous civil litigants. He has provided legal services in the Stark County area for over 30 years. Since 2011 he has been recognized as a Certified Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

In addition, Ian serves as the village prosecutor for the Massillon Municipal Court. He also has served with local professional associations, including terms as President of the Stark County Association for Justice, as a member of the Executive Committee for the Stark County Bar Association and on several Bar committees, including serving as the current chair of the Administration of Justice Committee.

Ian has been otherwise active in the Stark County community over the years, including serving on the Plain Township Zoning Commission, as an adjunct professor at the University of Mount Union, on the Hall of Fame Parade Committee, with the Canton Jaycees, and various other volunteer, charitable and service organizations.

Ian is a graduate of GlenOak High School, the Ohio State University and the University of Akron School of Law.
