About
Lauren A. Gribble is an associate attorney with Tzangas Plakas Mannos Ltd. Her practice includes personal injury cases, business litigation, oil and gas matters, and trust and estate litigation on behalf of individual and commercial clients.
Ms. Gribble has been recognized as an Ohio “Rising Star” for 2019 by Super Lawyers® Rating Service. Rising Stars are Ohio’s best attorneys who are 40 or under or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.
Some of Ms. Gribble’s cases include Dean et al. v. Hostetler Heritage Homes, Ltd. et al., which resulted in a jury verdict in favor of our firm’s homeowner-clients for $300,000 against their negligent home builder and a release of the mechanic’s lien for $42,868.65 previously filed by the builder against our clients’ residence, and Premier Homes Inc. et al. v. Hanna Commercial, LLC et al., which settled as to Ms. Gribble’s clients following a favorable opinion after a bench trial as to certain issues.
Ms. Gribble is a native of Canton, Ohio and graduated summa cum laude from Hillsdale College with a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies. She graduated first in her class from the Akron University School of Law where she received the Ernest Karam Award for Academic Excellence and CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Contracts, Criminal Law, Legal Drafting, and Advanced Litigation. While at Akron Law, Ms. Gribble refined her oral advocacy skills as a member of the nationally acclaimed Mock Trial Team. Ms. Gribble also served on the Editorial Board of the Akron Law Review, receiving awards for Best Production Team and Best Student Comment.
Ms. Gribble was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2015 and is licensed to practice in all state courts and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
Ms. Gribble’s publications include Justice Before Generosity: Creditors’ Claim to Assets of a Revocable Trust After the Death of the Settlor, Akron Law Review, Vol. 48, Iss. 2, Art. 6 (2015). Ms. Gribble has also prepared and delivered a CEU presentation on legal issues for mental health clinicians, entitled “How Can I Get Out of a Subpoena?”: The rights and responsibilities of mental health clinicians and staff in responding to subpoenas and giving testimony in legal proceedings.
