Beverly Proctor-Donald grew up in Memphis Tennessee and East Cleveland Ohio but has called Stark County her home since 1991. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Memphis, graduating with Departmental Honors in the Department of Theater and Communication in the College of Communications and Fine Arts and she earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law. Beverly has practiced law in Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas, Carroll, Wayne and Holmes County since 2001 and has been a sole practitioner since 2005. Beverly’s law practice has a focus in family law and she also handles estate planning and personal injury cases. Beverly is a member of the Stark County Bar Association, The Ohio State Bar Association, The Stark County Association for Justice and the Akron Canton Barristers. She also currently serves as a Committee member for the Stark County Bar Association Pro Bono Committee, Stark County Job and Family Services Planning Committee, Stark County Bar Association Grievance Committee and the Stark County Bar Association Family Law Committee. Beverly volunteers for legal aid’s pro se divorce and custody clinics and has given her time as a volunteer and committee member to other community organizations over the years. Beverly has been married for 29 years and has one 20-year-old son who is a sophomore at Ohio University.
